Hans van de Pas of Match Plan Fusies en Overnames was named Takeover Advisor of the Year last night during the Merger & Acquisition Annual Conference. This year, Van de Plas supervised among others the sale of 100%email and 100%driven to United Playgrounds, the sale of IT service provider Four-IT to MG Partners and the sale of wholesale maritime valves Valveco to Pindustry.
The award for the Young Acquisition Advisor of the Year went to Tim ten Beitel of Taurus Corporate Finance. Ten Beitel joins the partnership of Taurus Corporate Finance as of January 1, 2023.
Rudolph Snethlage of TeekensKarstens advocaten notarissen is the new Acquisition Lawyer of the Year. Snethlage is active in business acquisitions (purchase and sale), participations, venture capital, joint ventures and management buy-outs/ins. Next, he also acts for management teams in private equity deals.

BDO M&A was named Acquisition Firm of the Year in the Large category. With approximately 60 advisers, they are one of the largest corporate finance firms for SMEs and family businesses. The counters for 2022 already stands at 62 assisted deals by the M&A team.
In the Medium category, this year's Takeover Firm of the Year award went to Florijnz Corporate Finance. Florijnz assisted this year with, among other things, the sale of Emma Solutions to Riverdam and the sale of VM Logistics to AIM Group.
Venturefirm became Takeover Firm of the Year in the Small category. In addition to M&A and financial expertise, Venturefirm also has direct access to tax and legal experts, which promotes decisiveness and communication with the entrepreneur.
The award for Investment Company of the Year was won by Antea Participaties. The best-known investment for Antea this year was its majority stake in Kwalitaria, our country's largest cafeteria formula. Together, they aim for 20 percent annual sales growth.
The Merger & Acquisition Awards are an initiative of acquisition platforms Brookz and Dealsuite. A record number of over 280 advisers, acquisition firms and investment companies participated in this 8th edition of the Merger & Acquisition Awards this year. In total, more than 10,000 votes were cast by peers, clients and business associates.
