Added value of an acquisition consultant

Brookz conducted research in recent months on the added value of an acquisition advisor. What are the main reasons for an entrepreneur to hire an acquisition advisor? And based on what criteria do entrepreneurs make their choice of adviser?

In this research, we surveyed entrepreneurs and acquisition advisors separately. This also allows us to make a comparison between what entrepreneurs consider important qualities of an adviser and what advisers themselves see as their added value.

A total of 506 respondents participated in this research; 386 entrepreneurs and 120 acquisition advisors. We distinguished - where relevant and significant - between the responses of entrepreneurs and the responses of acquisition advisory firms.

We believe this Brookz research report contributes to the knowledge and understanding of the search process of entrepreneurs when selecting their acquisition advisor.
