Hessel Jan Smink talked with Peter Rikhof during From A to Z Successful.
Peter Rikhof founded Brookz in 2007 and has been managing director ever since. They have grown into the largest acquisition platform in the Netherlands with over 40,000 affiliated entrepreneurs, investors and advisers. He studied economics and journalism and from 1995 was active as a journalist and editor-in-chief at De Telegraaf, Management Team and Sprout, among others. With the latter entrepreneurial platform he founded, he was nominated in 2006 for the LOF Prize, an award for the most innovative and innovative trade magazine. In 2007, he left VNU and founded Brookz.
Rikhof is also the author of three practical books for entrepreneurs and investors: "How do I buy a business?", "How do I sell my business?" and "How do I find an investor?". As an entrepreneur himself, he has since gained experience buying and selling three businesses and is an organizer of National Acquisition Day, a nationwide event for buyers and sellers of businesses.
