The original cost of the package listed above, adjusted for inflation, is over 80k, but the owner is willing to sell it for significantly less.

The revenue model for geldverdienen.nl is simple: write and regularly update articles on the topic of “making money,” and earn affiliate commissions. If the site is updated regularly (i.e., by writing a new article or updating an existing one), it attracts a lot of organic traffic due to high search engine rankings, and once visitors land on a page, they often stay to explore other pages.

For years, the site generated income for the owner fairly easily (a few hours of work per week; the best years were 2015: 95k; and 2016: 86k), but unfortunately, the owner has let the site fall into disrepair. The “last updated” dates of the articles are still updated occasionally (with a single click in the backend), and visitor comments are replied to or moderated when relevant (about 5 minutes per month), but that’s about it. Articles contain broken links, cover topics that are partly outdated, and no new articles have been added for years. The owner’s advice is: for six months, update an existing article every week or write a new one, and rankings, traffic, and conversion rates will naturally improve. And if, in addition, a few articles are revived or added with higher-commission topics (finance, forex, betting, etc.), the owner estimates that profits could approach 100k again within a year. A design refresh might also help (not the backend, just the colors and layout). The business that created the original design is still active and could provide support for this (they also handle updates and plugin maintenance for the site for €60 per year).

Recent Revenue
Regarding more recent revenue: last year’s profit was higher than the €4,800 listed in the “2025 profit” field; webcam commissions alone totaled €8k last year. However, because some affiliate accounts still partially benefit from users referred in the past—and because those affiliate accounts are not part of the sale—those values have been discounted. €5,000 in revenue is the estimate for the total revenue attributable to 2025. The total number of visitors last year was 8.3k. The costs were/are approximately €200 per year for the domain name, hosting, and the aforementioned plugin maintenance.

This is a niche where there is significant earning potential with very low fixed and variable costs, which translates to great potential with very limited risks. In the years when earnings were in the high xxk range, costs were no higher than they are now (= €200/year). No advertising has ever been done, and the owner would advise a successor not to start doing so either. This platform has the foundation to attract high numbers of organic visitors simply by keeping the site active.

Location
Geldverdienen.nl is solely a website and therefore 100% digital. No in-person visitors, no inventory.

The website is hosted by TransIP; the easiest option would be to perform an “internal handover” there, which simply means that TransIP transfers the website from the owner’s TransIP account to the buyer’s account.

Of course, the owner will explain the backend to the buyer during the handover and share relevant information.

Additional comments

• This sale does not include all activities of the sole proprietorship/the owner’s Chamber of Commerce registration number, but only the independent portion consisting of the domain name and website geldverdienen.nl, plus the aforementioned related “money-making” domain names. Other domain names and activities associated with the Chamber of Commerce registration are not for sale, and the old affiliate accounts are also not included in the sale.
• During its peak years, the owner promoted forex and sports betting, among other things. Those articles have been deactivated for personal/ethical reasons, but they are still present in the backend and can be reactivated if desired. This is relevant because these are topics where affiliate commissions are significantly higher than, for example, survey sign-ups.
• For years, the site was ranked number 1 for the keyword “make money,” but due to a lack of content updates, that ranking has dropped. It’s worth noting, however, that the site still ranks highly for the keyword “webcamming,” which generates commissions not only for referring models but also for referring visitors to cam sites.
