Courier company for conditioned transport (Benelux)

This company has been operating as a specialized courier company in conditioned transport since 2003. Services include refrigerated, heated and frozen transport within mainly the Benelux (95% of shipments), with a focus on food and increasingly pharma. The organization has a fully certified quality system, including ISO 22000 and GDP.

Fleet
The fleet consists of 13 modern vehicles, equipped with GPS tracking and tracing, suitable for transport from one box to five pallets. These vehicles are recently renewed and owned by the business. A building is rented in which the vehicles can be safely stored during evening hours (daytime too, of course).

Organization and personnel
The company is managed by the owner and his partner. There is no separate management layer, making the organization lean & mean. The business uses a stable and experienced network of senior drivers, who work on an on-call basis.( We have 1 person with 1 year contract and a number of self-employed drivers who will get a flexible contract in q3) As a result, absenteeism and staff turnover is low. The company rents premises where the vehicles can be safely stored under lock and key at night.
