The client is looking for a company operating in or affiliated with the infra sector. Preference is given to businesses that operate in stable, non-cyclical markets and have a solid position within a clear niche. Interesting segments include ground, road and hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, construction and infra technology, technical trading companies, machine and equipment related services, inspection, testing and certification, engineering and survey companies and asset management within infra.

Business model
The ideal business has a business model that is currently partly based on hardware or products, but where there are clear opportunities to further develop into a more service-oriented model. Consider maintenance, data, software components and other recurring services. The company preferably shows stable growth, has predictable revenues and is not heavily dependent on economic fluctuations. A diverse customer base with long-term relationships is an important asset.
