Webshop in wines

• Owners are looking for candidates to take over a webshop in wine.
• The business is very young (started in late November 2023).
• A nice revenue has been made (see further in the ad), but business is still too young to offer stable results for the possible buyer. Revenue was mainly turned based on Meta ads and some Google Ads. Best month did 17.4K (in March).
• There is still a lot of freedom for new ideas from the new buyer(s) and to form the business as desired by the buyer(s). The business has great potential in the D2C segment and within e-commerce. • Branding and building brand identity and brand awareness;
• Web design + webshop development;
• Copywriting of blogs + product listings of over 800 wines;
• Social proof built from an Instagram account (about 1k followers), a Facebook account, Trustpilot reviews;
• Building an email database of approximately 900 customers;
• Building a regular customer base. There are a number of customers who keep coming back again and again. Potential here is high;
• Revenue turned shows the potential of the business. It is a steep growth curve with a lot of potential;
• Asking price: €25,000 but owners are open to bids

Short description
The webshop went live in mid-November 2023. The webshop features more than 800 wines with self-written texts. A reasonable email file has been built and social proof (Trustpilot reviews) collected. The business has 1K followers on Instagram. The business currently sells only in the Netherlands.

Sales and growth
In the months of January (6.2K sales), February (11.5K sales), March (17.4K sales), April (15.8K sales) a revenue of 51K realized. Revenue was realized partly organically, but mainly through ads (Meta/Google) and email marketing. The ads were largely turned off toward the end of April, causing a dip in revenue growth. Most customers order 6 bottles or more and there are regular customers. The average order value is €83.10.

Details
Currently orders are fulfilled on a dropship basis. There is an opportunity and interest from the supplier to continue this. Ordering and holding own stock is also a possible option and offers even more potential for cost reduction, growth and more freedom in terms of fulfillment.
