The National Music Lottery is an initiative to continue to stimulate, inspire and innovate music in our culture. The initiators are themselves Limburgers who grew up with music. The National Music Lottery is set up professionally, with the lottery experts at LOTNL and also in cooperation with the LBM (Limburg Association of Music Companies) and KNMO (Royal Dutch Music Association), in order to emphasize its importance.
Details
Keeping up with current and future times requires different initiatives to keep our association healthy and sustainable. 50% of the proceeds of the lottery will go directly to the (amateur) music association. A participant in the lottery can also win a nice prize and attention for the importance of music will be gained.
Why a National Music Lottery
For centuries, music has been an important part of our culture and contributes to the positive development of people. So as a music society, our role is to make a positive contribution to the community. Our society is constantly changing, to which we as a music society respond. The 'time' factor of volunteers as well as the digitalization of our society ensures that we also look for other ways to sustainably preserve this cultural heritage. With this we ensure for our own community and future generations that they can continue to enjoy, relax and have fun making and/or listening to music, or in other words "Give future music".
