National network of confidants seeks investment

A legislative amendment to the Working Conditions Act is expected to be passed in the second half of 2022, which is available for perusal in the Lower House. This change in the law brings with it a package of new obligations for employers, one of which cannot be met by the current supply of occupational health and safety services. The services made mandatory for employers to provide to their staff will mostly be purchased externally.

The company in question has been anticipating this development for over a year. It has a platform ready and is filling the supply side of service providers. Once the legislation goes into effect, this provider will have the following ready to go:

• A nationwide network of ZZPs certified to provide the service;
• A self-managed ICT platform in which calendar of supply and demand is linked, automatic collection is arranged and handling of substantive casuistry;
• A subscription model with additional hours on subsequent calculation.

To roll out this nationwide network, we are seeking an investment of €150,000 with an expected tripling by January 1, 2026. The aim is to do a joint exit in due course.
