The entrepreneur started out in inland shipping at age 15. Now 51, he looks back on more than 30 years as an independent entrepreneur. He stopped sailing a year ago. It was a conscious decision after many years in inland shipping. But it soon became clear that the entrepreneur misses one thing above all else: the act of entrepreneurship itself.

Spotting opportunities, investing, making decisions, and building something together—these are exactly the things that energize this entrepreneur. Even now, the entrepreneur isn’t sitting still. The entrepreneur is currently involved in a number of different projects and businesses, where they are actively involved in entrepreneurship, investing, and contributing ideas. The entrepreneur thoroughly enjoys this, and it has only confirmed their desire to remain actively engaged in entrepreneurship.
