An acquisition is only successful once the financing is in place. That’s where Eurowijzer comes in. Founder Arjan Baars has had inside knowledge of the financing world for over 25 years. He started at LeasePlan and sat at the table where decisions on applications were made. He knows how a financier evaluates a business and a buyer, and why the decision is a yes or a no. We use that knowledge to help entrepreneurs who want to sell a business or buy a business.

What You Get from Us
You know in advance what’s feasible. We work with over 60 financial institutions, as well as private investors and family offices. Even before the first offer is made, we know what financing a buyer can secure. For example: a €950,000 acquisition, closed in eight weeks with a bank, the seller, and a private investor.

A single point of contact, from start to finish. Arjan personally oversees three to four acquisitions at a time. Each process takes about a year, and you’ll be working with him throughout that entire time. He is supported by approximately 15 independent specialists—the Eurowijzers—each with their own area of expertise.

We also tell you what you’d rather not hear. If you borrow €200,000 and put up €800,000 in collateral, you won’t be able to grow your business later on. We’ll tell you that up front. Just like our advice not to sell a business just yet, but to get your business ready for a sale first.

We post an anonymous listing on Brookz, seek out buyers, evaluate the offers, and arrange financing—all the way through to the signing at the notary’s office.
