Visma acquired stake in ZorgDomein

As of July 1, 2023, Visma joins ZorgDomein as a new shareholder. With the experience and support of Visma, ZorgDomein can increase its innovative power. ZorgDomein says that through this cooperation the demand of customers and users for new relevant digital applications on the healthcare platform can be accelerated. Among other things, the new major shareholder brings a lot of knowledge of, for example, security and privacy. Founder Walter Balestra and the investment arm of Rabobank (as minority shareholder) have both sold a part of their stake, but remain involved in the business.
