Synergia acquires Loo van Eck

Loo van Eck joins forces with Babbage Company after both organizations have grown strongly in recent years. Together they will enter a new phase as a group and build the largest communications company in the Netherlands.

To this end, investment company Synergia Capital Partners has been brought on board as majority shareholder. The founders of both businesses bid farewell and transfer their responsibilities to new management.

The new group's expected total revenue this year is approximately 50 million euros. From 1 September 2023, Loo van Eck and Babbage Company will belong to the same group, but will continue to operate independently and alongside each other under their own (brand) names. In the coming period, both businesses will explore opportunities for synergy and new joint initiatives.

Loo van Eck, founded in 1983 by Mr. Van 't Loo and Mr. Van Eck, helps organizations improve their written and oral communication through training, e-learnings and content production. The business now employs approximately 70 permanent staff and Loo van Eck has managed to gain a leading position within the (local and regional) government, the housing sector and financial services.
