Software vendor Health Cloud Initiative (HCI), backed by Vortex Capital Partners, has taken a big step in its rapid buy-and-build strategy with the acquisition of NICE Software.
HCI is a software vendor specializing in EHRs and e-health for paramedics, rehabilitation and mental health. With the acquisition of NICE, HCI has further strengthened its market position, having previously acquired other businesses such as Incura, FysioRoadmap, Evry and CRS GGZ software. Following the acquisition, more than 21,000 healthcare providers work with HCI's software services every day.
Health Cloud Initiative was created with the idea that joining forces of different software labels for mental health and paramedical care will lead to further innovation power. This additional innovative strength will lead to maximum unburdening of implementers in healthcare. Health cloud iniative is a platform investment of Vortex Capital partners.
