Salves, the test consultancy and test-automation specialist from Helvoirt, acquires test management platform Supportbook. Supportbook will continue to operate under its own brand name. Management and employees are involved in the acquisition, ensuring support and development of the software.
Supportbook's extensive track-record in healthcare fits well with the activities of Testservices Zorg, Salves' healthcare division. The acquisition offers enormous opportunities and many customer benefits in healthcare. Salves' test automation solution already had a link to Supportbook. After the acquisition, there will be one integrated total solution for all testing activities.
Ewout Kuijer, Director of Supportbook, says enthusiastically about the acquisition. "Together we are stronger, we can benefit from each other's expertise and thus serve the customer even better."
The valuable collaboration goes beyond care. Supportbook is the tool for test management. It facilitates progress and regression testing with an intuitive workflow. The platform can be applied in both project and management situations and represents an ideal match with Salves' activities. Their test professionals are involved daily in test management and improving the test maturity of organizations in a variety of situations.
"Our customers often already work with Supportbook," adds Boris Corvers, Director of Test Services Care at Salves. "We largely have the same type of clients." Corvers explains that Testservices Healthcare not only offers test consulting, but also has test-automation services, such as the Salves TestBot for HiX and Glims. "In that area, the synergy we achieve with the acquisition of Supportbook is very big," Corvers says.
During projects, Salves consultants guide the testing process, and after going live, the TestBot takes care of automated tested releases. Supportbook supports a structured testing and acceptance process in all phases. Corvers: "This way, we cover the testing and distribution of all the software changes you can think of in a hospital before we put a quality stamp on it."
Kuijer also sees great benefits. "By allowing Supportbook's developers to benefit from the market knowledge of Salves' more than 100 consultants, the product will become even better. That is why I am very happy with the acquisition and look forward to working together intensively."
The acquisition of Supportbook by Salves has no impact on customers. Kuijer: "We will continue to operate under the Supportbook name and all employees will remain involved with the product."
