Flower wholesaler Heemskerk Flowers acquires majority stake in EZ Flower

Description

Heemskerk Flowers, the Rijnsburg wholesaler of flowers and plants, has acquired a majority stake in EZ Flower.

EZ Flower specializes in air transport of flowers and plants. With the acquisition, Heemskerk Flowers brings this specialized knowledge in-house, and obtains a better position in the (growing) international wholesale market for flowers and plants.

About Heemskerk Flowers

Heemskerk Flowers was founded in 1961 and has operated as a wholesaler of flowers and plants ever since. The company purchases flowers and plants from auctions, growers as well as importers. These are converted into sales-ready products (bouquets, decoration, flowers, plants, etc.), and then sold to a wide customer base (B2B).

In 2021, Heemskerk celebrated its 60th anniversary. Currently, a team of approximately 350 employees work together to provide the highest quality products and services to approximately 5,000 customers in 45 countries.
