The Amsterdam-based e-commerce consultancy becomes part of WPP subsidiary Wunderman Thompson.
Founded in 2007, Newcraft combines knowledge of digital transformation strategy, data and (e-)commerce to accelerate clients' digital sales. The business has been growing for years with clients such as Ahold Delhaize, Pon Holdings and JDE Peet's. After joining WPP's global network, Newcraft hopes to work for larger international clients.
British-listed WPP, with more than 13,500 employees and revenues of £12.8 billion (2021), is the world's largest advertising and public relations business. The WPP umbrella includes many businesses active in advertising, public relations, media and market research, including Hill+Knowlton, Mindshare and Ogilvy.
Newcraft's employees will join the Wunderman Thompson business unit, which has more than 2,000 employees. It serves clients such as Bosch, Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé, Shell, Tempur and Tiffany & Co and has been part of WPP since 1987.
