About Duijvestijn Tomatoes

Duijvestijn Tomaten was founded in 1963 and grows about 17 million kilos of tomatoes annually on 25 hectares in Pijnacker. The tomatoes are supplied to supermarkets, food service businesses, wholesalers and specialty stores throughout Europe and are packaged in the company's own packaging company LogiFour. Sustainability and innovation are important components of the company's operations and are also embedded in its core values. Since 2011 the greenhouses have been heated with geothermal heat and since 2019 there have been over 2,500 solar panels on the roof. As a result, the business produces virtually CO2 neutral.
