Archipel Academy is taking over Conclusion's Learning Services business unit. With this step, Archipel Academy becomes the largest independent training intermediary in the Netherlands.

With the acquisition, Archipel Academy, a spin-off of Schouten & Nelissen, will have a larger purchasing capacity with which it can serve even more business and government employees. "With this we are taking a big step in our ambitions," said Archipel Academy CEO Omar Fouab.

According to BDO, the takeover offers Archipel Academy the opportunity to offer 'unlimited learning': unlimited learning for a limited budget, in class and online. Archipel Academy is thus responding to the trend that businesses want their employees to learn continuously instead of having them follow separate, stand-alone training courses. This market is expected to grow strongly in the coming years.

Archipel Academy specializes in setting up academies and takes care of the entire procurement, organization and invoicing of training courses. Over the past 2.5 years, the business has grown organically from 10 to 63 employees. After the acquisition, another twenty employees will be added to that number. Archipel Academy's clients include VodafoneZiggo, Philips, Heineken, Enexis, KPMG, Bosch, Thales and the Dutch government. 7,500 professionals are already using Archipel Unlimited.

Conclusion Learning Centers (CLC) is active in the field of learning and IT. CLC owns the learning management system Class, which gives employees control over their own learning activities.
