Takeover of a civil engineering business in the southern Netherlands

We are looking for a GWW business in the Southern Netherlands with a size of about 10 to 50 employees and an annual turnover between €5 and €50 million. Preference will be given to a company active in civil and infrastructure work such as earth moving, site preparation, sewerage works, infratechnology, street and paving projects, cultural engineering or hydraulic engineering works. Businesses with government maintenance contracts or larger contractors also fit well within our buyer profile.

Details
We consider the quality and stability of the organization more important than the exact financial return. A solid order book, lasting customer relationships and a good reputation in the region outweigh the level of EBITDA. We are looking for a business with an experienced and independently operating execution team, practical professional knowledge and an organization that executes its projects in a controlled manner. The presence of its own equipment and a well-equipped project organization is a plus.

Transaction form
This call is expressly aimed at director-owners who are thinking about succession, for example in connection with retirement, changing ambitions or the desire to place the business with a party that can ensure further growth and continuity. We are open to both a full takeover and a phased transfer, with the current owner remaining involved for a period for knowledge transfer and relationship assurance if desired.
