Description

The organization is a Dutch technical representation of two German manufacturing companies that develop and manufacture high-quality tools. The tools are designed in consultation with customers and then produced, shipped and invoiced in Germany. The working area is the Netherlands and Belgian Flanders.

Business activities
The organization acts as a link between customers and German manufacturers: from specification and technical coordination to guidance towards engineering and production. It also supplies a limited share of accessories closely related to the tools supplied (approximately 3-5% of total revenue).

Market and customers
For decades, the customer base has consisted mainly of manufacturing companies, including suppliers to the semiconductor and electronics industry (with OEMs such as ASML), tool making companies, automotive (incl. trucks), (technical) glass processing, shipbuilding, manufacturers of machining tools and ceramic materials.

Strengths
The organization has a stable and long-term customer base, partly due to extensive industry experience of the owner and structural technical support from both Dutch representation and German engineering. With several larger customers, much of the tool purchasing is concentrated with this supplier relationship (up to about 85%). There is relatively limited direct competition in the niche.
