Established CNC machining company in the Randstad

A new owner is being sought for an established machining company in the Randstad. For over half a century, the business has been manufacturing precision parts to drawings for OEMs and machine builders in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and plastic—ranging from prototypes to production runs of 10,000 units.

The business
The business has approximately 20 FTEs and more than twenty CNC lathes and milling machines, some of which feature robotic loading for unmanned hours. A metrology room equipped with a 3D coordinate measuring machine ensures quality. It uses a standard ERP system, with shop floor terminals and a CAM integration, and is currently implementing AI-driven cost estimation software. The director is supported by an operations manager.

Customers and Growth
The business has a loyal customer base of OEMs in mechanical engineering, food, agriculture, construction, and intralogistics, supplemented by its first customers in high-tech and defense. Revenue is stable at around €3.3 million. Management is working on a plan to reach €4.0 million in revenue and €0.4 to 0.5 million in EBITDA, through faster quoting enabled by AI and targeted acquisitions in high-tech and medtech.

Transaction
The shareholders are selling 100% of the shares to a strategic buyer, a buy-and-build group, or a management buyout (MBI), with or without an investor. The CEO will oversee the transfer.

Pre-registration
The sales process will begin in mid-2027, but pre-registration is now open. Parties that register now will be included in the pre-selection process and will be the first to be involved in the process. Registration is non-binding. When registering, applicants are asked to provide a brief statement of interest, an indication of their own resources and financing capacity, and a description of their experience. Selected parties will receive more information after signing a non-disclosure agreement.
