Run2Day ready for the future with new investment partner and CEO shareholder

Run2Day is entering a new growth phase with Robbert Cornelissen at the helm, active as CEO and shareholder since Oct. 1. The company has been acquired by an investment vehicle of Rise Point Capital, a move that strengthens the foundation for further growth of the running brand, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year. With 16 branches throughout the Netherlands and a committed network of franchise partners, Run2Day has become a fixture in the running world. The brand stands for expertise, experience and a strong community.

Robbert Cornelissen brings more than 20 years of experience in scaling businesses and leading organizations in transition. "My mission is to create a healthier future by activating behaviors, systems and leadership. I believe in the power of collaboration with employees, franchise partners, customers and brands. Only together can we make a real impact and expand our position in the sports market."

Rise Point Capital co-invests in solid SME companies with a strong market position that are ready for the next step. "Run2Day has developed in recent years into a strong brand in the Dutch running market," said Sergio van Luijk, Partner at Rise Point Capital.
