Match Plan assists Kuipers and Houtman in sale to Liganta

Match Plan has assisted the owners, Bianca Kuipers and Mirjam van der Spek, of Kuipers en Houtman in the sale of 100% of the shares to its new owner Liganta.

About Kuipers and Houtman

Kuipers and Houtman is an organization specializing in everything related to behavioral and parenting problems. The target group Kuipers and Houtman deals with consists of children, adolescents, adults and parents. We work from the social competence model. This means that the skills of the client and his network are examined. From there we examine what is still needed and what is already going well.

Kuipers and Houtman was founded in 2010. At that time, their intention was to provide guidance and support from their specialty. The intention was that Kuipers and Houtman would remain independent and offer training in addition to home counseling. After six months, the first employee had been hired. Every year all staff members are trained in different areas, including psycho-education and everything related to the reporting code.

About Liganta

Liganta is a company based in Haulerwijk. The business is active in organizational consulting. Jenny Hof is the owner of Liganta and will start working as the owner of Kuipers and Houtman on January 1, 2024.

Role of Match Plan

Match Plan assisted and advised the shareholders of Kuipers and Houtman throughout the entire process. Among other things, we assisted with:

• Drafting an information memorandum and longlist
• Conducting introductory interviews with interested buyers
• Analyzing and providing guidance in assessing the bids
• Conducting negotiations with the selected interested buyers
• Drafting and agreeing the letter of intent
• Agreeing the final transaction documentation
