Purchase of Syplon by Noordwijzer - Construction management and advice

Description

Diligence has assisted Johan Gielstra of Noordwijzer B.V. with the purchase of Syplon B.V. from Groningen. This acquisition creates a strong regional construction management and consultancy firm with broad coverage in the Northern Netherlands.

Effective May 1, 2026, Noordwijzer B.V. of Heerenveen acquired Syplon B.V. Bouwmanagement & Huisvestingsadvies from Alexander Bleker. Both parties found each other through a shared vision of quality, cooperation and sustainability and together form a single team that supports clients from initiative and advice to realization, management and sustainable operation.

About Syplon
Syplon has been active since 1987 as an independent consultancy for construction management and accommodation advice, serving clients in education, healthcare, government, housing associations, owners' associations and SMEs, among others. From the Groningen office, the focus is on management and maintenance, multi-year maintenance plans (MJOP) and energy monitoring. Former owners Alexander and Claudia Bleker will remain involved in the coming period to ensure a careful and personal handover.

About Noordwijzer
Noordwijzer, based in Heerenveen, focuses on construction advice, project management and the sustainability of real estate. Owner Johan Gielstra and his right-hand man Jans Popken will jointly manage both branches.

Strategic starting point
Both organizations control the entire field, but with a different emphasis: Syplon is strong in management, maintenance and energy, Noordwijzer is strong in construction advice, project management and sustainability. As a result, they strengthen each other both substantively and practically. For clients, this means a broader service package with short lines of communication, regional proximity and a long-term perspective. Syplon will remain in Groningen and Noordwijzer will continue to operate from Heerenveen. Both organizations will continue to work independently while maintaining their own identity and familiar working methods.
