Within 3 months a partner: 'Unprecedented, finds our client

In early July 2024, our client from an IT business knocked on Company Brokers Brokers' door.

The IT company provides customized automation solutions with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotized Process Automation (RPA) and data analytics to drive efficiency and innovation for businesses of all sizes and industries. The company has grown rapidly over the past few years and is in the process of transforming from secondment to marketing a number of dedicated AI SAAS solutions. To accelerate this process, the company was looking for both capital as well as a partner who could support this process.

Company Brokers quickly had a number of potential candidates and after a detailed selection process, an IT investor was chosen. The investor will take a 60% stake in the company and actively participate to take the business to the next phase together with the current owner. The pragmatic approach of both parties made the negotiations go quite smoothly. By the end of September 2024, the champagne bottle could then already be uncorked at the notary.

Company Brokers managed the entire process, from valuation to selection and negotiation of the prospective buyers as well as all contracts such as LOI, sales agreement, shareholder agreement and the management agreement.
