In 2017, DentConnect has grown into a chain of more than 230 practices within Europe. From its headquarters in Oosterhout the company is working hard to further implement its growth strategy.

Cooperation in group practices with multiple dentists or with chains offers dentists benefits, they say. The large chains claim they work more professionally, can buy cheaper and offer patients more specialties.

Whereas in 2014 nearly 5% of dental practices were affiliated with a chain, various industry experts now estimate that share at around 10%. 'In five years, the share of solo practitioners will have dropped to 40% to 50%,' DentConnect is currently the market leader in the Netherlands with approximately 230 dental practices. The growth target in set at around 300 practices by the end of 2018.
