Acquisition

According to CEO Lorenzo Bas, the logistics sector will change considerably in the coming years, creating both opportunities and threats. As a result, the Bas family was at a crossroads: growing independently or joining a (larger) logistics service provider. The sale to Raben Group will make Bas Group less vulnerable to external influences.

The family business Raben Group has been in existence for over ninety years and operates in thirteen countries with approximately one hundred and fifty locations. By acquiring Bas Group, Raben increases its position in the Netherlands and Southwest Europe.
