Match Plan assists R2 Recycling in sale to Milieu Service Group

Match Plan has advised R2 Recycling on the sale of its operations to Milieu Service Groep, the parent company of Milieu Service Nederland and others. This acquisition is in line with Milieu Service Groep's ambition to become Europe's largest waste platform.

About R2 Recycling

As an IT platform, R2 Recycling focuses on the online rental of (rolling) containers. The company specializes in bringing together supply and demand between customers (consumers and businesses) and suppliers. The development of two software systems has automated 90% of the work and created an easily scalable platform.

Role of Match Plan

Match Plan has assisted the owner of R2 Recycling during the entire sales process. After drafting an information memorandum, confidentiality statement and anonymous profile, several potential buyers were approached. There was immediately a good click with Milieu Service Group. Agreement was then reached with them on the transfer of the business.
