Match Plan assists LUMC with business case testing and review of internal valuations

Match Plan has supported Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) with testing the business case and assessing an internal valuation of one of the components of LUMC in the context of a possible transfer.

About Leiden University Medical Center

Leiden University Medical Center is the academic hospital attached to Leiden University. It consists of a partnership between the Academic Hospital Leiden and the Faculty of Medicine of Leiden University. LUMC is a line organization with decentralized integral management. This means that divisional boards and department heads are integrally responsible within the frameworks set by the Executive Board.

Role of Match Plan

Match Plan has supported the LUMC with testing the business case and assessing an internally prepared valuation of one of the components of the LUMC in the context of a possible transfer. A business valuation can be prepared for several purposes. It is common for it to be performed for a sale, acquisition or merger.
