Match Plan has supported Ebusco with a variety of valuation issues in the preparation of financial statements, including the annual impairment test of goodwill. An impairment test is an examination to check whether the value in the accounts still corresponds to the actual value of a business. In fact, intangible assets (think goodwill or brand name, for example) may be impaired. This often occurs when market conditions have changed.
This valuation assignment was carried out under the responsibility of Richard Peeters (Director Valuations).
