Match Plan assists BSO Wise! in sale to Kids Lodge

Match Plan has assisted Frija Bleijerveld and Sandra Hofhuis of BSO Wijs! with the sale of 100% of the shares. This to its new owner Kids Lodge, withHolland Capitalas investment company behind it since September 2021. This is the second acquisition where we have assisted in the buy and build strategy of Kids Lodge.

About BSO Wijs!

BSO Wijs was founded in 2011 and offers 'BuitenSpeelOpvang' for children aged 4 - 12. It has 10 locations in the Utrecht region and allows over 670 children to play outside. The basic principle of BSO Wijs is that children can play outside all year round. This unique concept gives the children all the responsibility and freedom that helps them challenge and develop themselves. Children's coordination and motor skills are developed during play and the social aspect also plays a major role. The vision of BSO Wijs! is that playing outside is good for children; children learn new things while playing and become physically and socially stronger.

About Kids Lodge

Kids Lodge was founded in 2009 and with a team of more than 400 employees provides care to approximately 2,500 children aged 0 to 12. Besides childcare, Kids Lodge also offers a Party Lodge, Sports Lodge and Family Lodge to establish itself as a family center as well. With locations in Houten, IJsselstein, Zeist and Bunnik Kids Lodge is a well-known name in the Utrecht region.

Role of Match Plan

Match Plan assisted and advised the shareholders of BSO Wijs! during the entire process. Among other things, we helped with:

• Preparing a valuation of the business; and
• We supervised the entire sales process from A to Z, i.e. from drafting the information memorandum, approaching parties, supervising the book-building process to checking and monitoring the transaction documentation.
