Match Plan has guided investment company Karmijn Karmijn Kapitaal in obtaining financing for a majority stake in UniKidz.

Karmijn Kapitaal is an investment company based Amsterdam and focuses on Dutch companies in various sectors with revenues of at least €5.0 million. Currently, Karmijn Kapitaal has 13 participations, including a producer of personal care products, a beer brewery, a supplier of storage and hedging solutions for the environmental and biogas industry and an auction platform.
UniKidz was founded in 2009 and has grown into a business with 28 locations within a 40 km radius of Amsterdam. It offers over 800 childcare spots, more than 5,000 after-school care spots and has about 140 employees. The business offers a wide range of activities for children, divided into five labels: FitKidz, MindKidz, SkillsKidz, SoulKidz and Educational Support. These activities are offered during both childcare and after-school programs. The Scoolz program provides educational support for children ages 10 to 18. UniKidz stands out in the market for its science-based approach, creating opportunities for sports, learning, creativity and cultural experiences.
Match Plan assisted Karmijn Kapitaal throughout the entire financing process. The main components of this included drafting the financing memorandum including desired financing structure, approaching the financiers and reviewing the documentation.
