Grant Thornton 's merger and acquisition team and corporate lawyers have guided the entrepreneurs of Hillson Exploitation in the acquisition process by Nordian Capital.

Hillson was approached by its largest competitor; Bouwatch. This company was acquired in 2016 by a private equity party called Nordian Capital and saw in Hillson a complementary business that would fit well into their portfolio.

The Grant Thornton ton team was involved in the negotiations between Hillson and Nordian Capital Capital which ultimately led to a non-binding offer to take over Hillson's shares. From that point on, Grant Thornton 's merger and acquisition team assisted Hillson's two entrepreneurs in the sale process. Our legal department was involved in drafting the acquisition documents.

The combination of Bouwatch/Hillson under the wings of Nordian Capital will create an undisputed market leader in intelligent camera surveillance.
