A few days ago, consulting and technology company IG&H announced the acquisition of ICT service provider Truston. Truston is market leader in the field of generic ICT management services for health insurers. With this acquisition IG&H therefore strengthens its position in the health insurance sector and its services in the field of ICT managed services.
Johan van Veldhuisen, managing director of Truston says: "We are looking forward to joining IG&H, because it offers a great opportunity to further expand the service package for health insurers, but also for other sectors and markets. The acquisition by IG&H was discussed in advance with our clients and they also responded enthusiastically about the cooperation with IG&H. Primarily, for our clients, the current relationship with Truston will remain in place and the unchanged service level will remain at a high level."
The acquisition assures IG&H of a strong team of specialists in the field of implementation, management and optimization of the back office application Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) for health insurers. But the transaction also means an expansion of the team of managed services specialists. Against the background of IG&H's growing software portfolio, which includes IG&H AllVida for the pensions sector where ICT managed services are also important, this acquisition is a valuable addition for the business.
Since Truston was founded in 1994, the business has become the specialist for the implementation, management and optimization of OHI. Currently, OHI is the core system for 50 percent of health insurers in the Netherlands. Truston employs 55 people and continues to operate as an independent entity and name for its customers. Truston, which employs 55 people, continues to serve its clients as an independent entity under its current company name.
