Financial Business Management(FBM), Stefan Antonissen and Ben Kaal have successfully guided South Holland-based Steketee in its sale to German machine manufacturer Lemken. For years, Steketee has been the leading machine factory in the field of precision hoeing equipment equipped with innovative camera systems. These smart systems are able to distinguish between weeds and crop plants.
As a specialist for the professional arable farmer, Lemken is one of Europe's market leaders in agricultural technology with more than 1,400 employees worldwide and revenues of 360 million euros. In the future, Lemken will also use this camera technology on its sprayers in order to save on crop protection agents through targeted spraying.
With Lemken's acquisition of Steketee, they will also acquire Rumptstad. Rumptstad builds plows, packers and cultivators and is part of Machinefabriek Steketee.
