SPAR university continues under wing of two SPAR city entrepreneurs

Description

Erwin Binneveld and Mirjam Bestebreurtje are transferring the majority of their shares in SPAR university to SPAR city entrepreneurs Martijn ten Berge and Ilona Bloch. SPAR holding will support the new organization in an active role.

The ambitions of these two parties come together and align well to become stronger together in the future. The two young city entrepreneurs currently have branches in Zutphen, Zwolle and Deventer and have always indicated their desire to grow as a company with SPAR. After many years in the field, Erwin Binneveld and Mirjam Bestebreurtje would like to use their knowledge and skills to coach younger entrepreneurs and will remain involved in SPAR university in this way.

The lockdowns have made it clear that the role of offices and campuses as "social meeting places" is very important. A survey conducted among students by SPAR university further underscored the importance of physical education. People want to continue to meet physically; corona has made this need even greater. A great opportunity for SPAR to focus even more on 'meeting' and facilitate this for offices and campuses.
