Cleaning company Reerink Schoonmaak & Onderhoud, based in Hengelo (Ov.), has acquired compatriot Schoonmaakbedrijf Wichems. The acquisition offers various synergy benefits and a strengthening of the market position for Reerink. Reerink sees Wichems as a great addition to Reerink Schoonmaak & Onderhoud.

Wichems provides cleaning services for businesses, including window washing, cleaning, façade and high-pressure cleaning, and floor maintenance. The entire workforce of Wichems, about 40 employees, has been acquired by Reerink. Reerink, a family business founded in 1971, provides both regular and specialty cleaning services to its customers. Reerink's reason for acquiring Wichems is to strengthen its market position in the region and expand its customer portfolio. Through the acquisition, the all-round service provider can serve its customers even better than before. For Wichems' customers, this acquisition means that they have come on board a streamlined cleaning organization with a broader service package.
