Koebrugge Metaalbewerking sells majority stake to StM Invest

Description

Koebrugge Metaalbewerking (KMB), based in Hengevelde, has transferred its majority stake to StM Invest as of August 29, 2022. For StM Invest, KMB is an expansion of the existing company portfolio within the metal industry in the small and medium-sized enterprise sector.

KMB is a metalworking company active in the production and machining of new and existing mechanical components (mainly milling), mostly machine parts in a variety of metal and plastic types. The high product quality, flexibility and delivery reliability has created a very loyal customer base with a repeat business. For production, KMB has a 'state-of-the-art' machine park consisting of several 5-axis milling machines, turning machines and wire EDMs.

After taking over his father's family business in 2004, Mr. Koebrugge further modernized and expanded the business into the current enterprise. Affiliation with a strategic partner was sought for the further growth of the company. Mr. Koebrugge remains involved in the company as a minority shareholder and intends to focus on other activities in the future.

StM Invest is an investment company characterized by its down-to-earth 'Twente' hands-on approach, which is an excellent fit for small and medium-sized businesses in the metal sector. From its network a suitable management has been sought for KMB so that the company can achieve its objectives in consultation with Mr. Koebrugge.

In order to further optimize/professionalize the existing activities within KMB, the affiliation with StM Invest allows the use of the knowledge and network within the industry.
