Expro-IT B.V. acquires Die Computer from Gert-Jan Aaltink

Description

As of October 1, Expro-IT B.V., is taking over Die Computer from Gert-Jan Aaltink. The business in Laren will continue under the same name, but will become part of EXPRO in Hengelo (OV). Jeroen Busschers, Operations Manager, will take over Gert-Jan Aaltink's tasks. Both gentlemen emphasize that nothing will change for customers: the name, location, employees and services provided will remain the same. However, some employees will join EXPRO.

"After 13 years, I have achieved my goal."

Gert-Jan Aaltink founded Die Computer in 2008 from his parental home. In recent years, the business has grown into a full-fledged partner in the field of ICT solutions. The company relieves businesses, schools and individuals of everything that revolves around ICT. Gert-Jan: "After 13 years I have achieved my goal with Die Computer. There is a beautiful business with employees that I am proud of. I hand it over to EXPRO with a good feeling; the business is in good hands." Gert-Jan will not disappear from the picture: he will focus on his business The Masters In Technology, which he founded in 2018 with Mark Biesterbosch. "Currently, Die Computer is already working with De Meesters In Techniek. This collaboration will continue, so nothing will change for customers in this area either."

Great opportunities for Die Computer

Jeroen Busschers of EXPRO is also positive about the takeover: "It already felt right after the first conversation. I see several opportunities emerging: we have services in our portfolio that Die Computer does not currently offer (VDI, VOIP, mobile telephony and data/internet connections, among others). Here I see nice growth opportunities." EXPRO has chosen not to transfer the employees of Die Computer to Hengelo, but rather to leave everything in Laren and offer current employees of EXPRO the opportunity to come and work in Laren. "We will create a connection with each other this way. We will create a bridge, as it were, between Twente and the Achterhoek."

Future EXPRO

EXPRO has set itself the goal of further growing the existing disciplines of Engineering, Telecom and IT in the coming years. EXPRO wishes to grow into a business where service and continuity are brought to a higher level. Where challenging projects are realized and where it is pleasant and challenging to work. The co-owners besides Jeroen, Wouter Mertens, Jordie Oortman and Joost le Loux, decide that the acquisition of Die Computer thus fits perfectly into EXPRO's growth ambitions.
