Managed Service Provider Connectworks based in Almelo has acquired the shares of colleague Atricom based in Enschede.
Through the acquisition Connectworks strengthens its position in the region and increases its volume so that services can be further optimized. The acquisition is the first step in the further growth ambition of Connectworks, where, in addition to the strong organic growth, the company also wants to accelerate its growth through acquisitions.
As Managed Service Providers (MSP) within the ICT sector, Connectworks and Atricom specialize in system and network management, cloud solutions, infrastructure and communication solutions for corporate clients.
Because of the consolidation wave in the ICT sector and the increasing developments from suppliers where scale is important, many MSPs are forced to accelerate their growth through appropriate acquisitions in addition to the rapid organic growth. On top of that, the demand for the cloud workplace has increased in popularity, accelerated by Covid-19, among others.
Connectworks sees Atricom as a suitable expansion in its growth strategy. There is a good match in terms of region, service package, size, type of clients and workplaces per client. With Atricom, Connectworks gets a party on board that values personal attention. In addition, together they will be technically stronger and will be able to further professionalize their services.
Connectworks was assisted in the purchase process by Factor & Ros. Mark Maathuis, one of the directors of Connectworks:
''Factor & Ros guided us in a pleasant way. We describe the cooperation as very involved. From beginning to end we were taken care of. We would certainly recommend Factor & Ros to other entrepreneurs.
