De Jong & Laan Corporate Finance assisted the Brons family in the sale of Brons Voorthuizen to the VanDrie Group.

Brons Voorthuizen has been active in the production of animal feeds as a family business since 1929. Over the years, the company has grown into a fully-fledged producer of both compound feeds and milk powders for various types of livestock. In recent years, the family business has been led by the third and fourth generations of Brons.

VanDrie Group is a family-owned global supplier of veal and beef products, calf feed, dairy raw materials and calfskins. VanDrie Group employs 2,500 people and has annual revenues of €2 billion. The acquisition of Brons Voorthuizen adds 29 FTEs and revenue of €45 million.

After the acquisition, the Brons family will remain actively involved in the company. The branch in Voorthuizen, the company name and all jobs will continue to exist.
