DHW Corporate Finance has assisted Dennis and Miranda Viehoff of Viehoff Fournituren B.V. of Heerhugowaard in a process in which they jointly sold their business to the German family business JORDAN Europe GmbH.

The Company
Viehoff Fournituren has profiled itself in the market since 1984 as the up-to-date wholesaler in Flooring and Window Haberdashery. The company is located in Heerhugowaard and some 18 employees work for the business. The company supplies Aspecta Flooring PVC, Maison Laminate, Meister Laminate and Lindura Hightech Parquet Flooring, Maison indoor blinds, Schönox Equalizations and Adhesives and Unifloor Underfloors and many tools and window haberdashery, among others.

JORDAN Europe GmbH is a complete provider for home and project furnishings under the brand name JOKA. This German family business started 100 years ago in Kassel and is the market leader in Germany. The company also operates in Poland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and employs some 1,500 people. With its first branch in Hengelo it is now trying to conquer the Dutch market as well. Viehoff from Heerhugowaard is an excellent addition to this in the Western Netherlands.

The transaction
DHW Corporate Finance assisted Dennis and Miranda Viehoff in the entire sales process. This started with an indicative valuation and the drafting of an information memorandum. After an intensive negotiation process and book review, agreement was finally reached. DHW Juristen then assisted in the preparation of all transaction documentation.
