AKOS represents over 55 years of experience as a consultancy and engineering firm. About 100 employees support industrial businesses on a daily basis in realizing and executing (technical) projects. AKOS does this in the areas of Development & Engineering, Analysis & Simulations and Project Management.

With AKOS branches in Apeldoorn and Heerenveen, Protakt with Haarlem will serve as the permanent base for the third branch within the AKOS Group. The partnership with Protakt fits perfectly with the AKOS Group's current services and vision for the future, with AKOS expanding its coverage in the Netherlands and focusing more on growth in the food and agribusiness sector.
