Hendriks & James joins forces with industry colleague Fiducia

Two specialized translation agencies join forces. Translation agency Fiducia from Udenhout and legal translation agency Hendriks & James from Amsterdam together form a new player with national coverage that has a substantial team of translators.

Fiducia was founded in early 2021 with a specialization in financial translations. Hendriks & James, founded by Nynke Hendriks and Ian Gaukroger, has existed since 2002 and has been an established name in the legal sector for many years. Guidance on the acquisition was provided by Company Brokers on behalf of Hendriks & James. Nynke Hendriks states:

Strengthening market position

Fiducia and Hendriks & James are joining forces mainly to strengthen their market position. The acquisition will create an organization with four in-house experts and an extensive flexible shell to supplement that capacity and knowledge. The new owner of the combination is Dave van den Akker, who founded Fiducia from his other translation agency Linquake.

Fiducia responds to this with its modern methodologies, with trust and quality as the basis,' said Van den Akker. He will take charge of the newly formed combination as of February 1.

Together, the two translation agencies will offer their services to clients throughout the Netherlands and abroad. This will happen from February 1 under the leadership of Dave van den Akker. Both organizations face the future with confidence and are happy to assist their clients with high-quality financial and legal translations.
