Mitrex BV is a family business with over 20 years of experience specializing in explosion-proof systems. Mitrex BV operates in a niche market. It is the only business in the Benelux that specializes in modifying machines according to European ATEX standards. Main activity consists of the conversion of internal transport means.

MANAGEMENT BUY-IN

BuyInside has guided mbi candidate Marnix Prosman (43 yr) in the partial acquisition (majority) of Mitrex BV (www.mitrex.nl). With this, Marnix succeeds former director/owner Ben de Kruif, who once founded the business as a one-man company in 1990 and is now retiring. With this acquisition the continuity of Mitrex is guaranteed and the business is strengthened with an experienced entrepreneur, who will lead Mitrex to a further international growth phase. David de Kruif, son of the founder and employed in the business since 2008, will continue to focus on the sales activities within the business and act as Marnix's right hand man.

MBI CANDIDATE

Marnix is an experienced entrepreneur. For the past almost 20 years he has been active in a family business, a specialized international timber trade. As a co-entrepreneur, he has successfully expanded this business in recent years. After Marnix decided to take a new step outside the family business and sold his shares, he reported to BuyInside.

BuyInside then assisted Marnix within 12 months in his orientation, the search for prospects and the final advice on the acquisition of Mitrex.
