JoyInCare, a business in smart lifting and assistive devices for healthcare, has new owners.
JOYINCARE
The Nunspeet company, founded in 1996 by Cora van Hal and Pim Krijnsen, focuses on the development and marketing of innovative concepts in healthcare, to keep the caregiver healthy while maintaining quality of care. Among other things, production takes place at the Confexion business unit in Assen. Confexion fulfills a social function in the region, where people with a distance to the labor market play an important role in the production process.
The demand for smart lifting and transfer aids for healthcare is increasing. These products reduce the physical load for caregivers, which leads to less downtime and more fun in care work. JOYinCARE is committed to growth in the coming years through investments in product development and possibly through acquisitions of industry peers.
MANAGEMENT BUY-IN
Cora van Hal and Pim Krijnsen are transferring the management of the company to their successors, Corné de Heij (formerly employed by Medux) and Robert van Leeuwen (formerly employed by Holland Capital). Investor Karmijn Kapitaal and the new management jointly acquired the shares of the founders. BuyInside supervised the entire sales process.
BuyInside wishes the new owners the best of luck with this great acquisition.
