WINE BUSINESS THE LOGIE

BuyInside assisted Jasper Ferwerda, Suzanne Broekhuizen and Frank Houtenbos with the purchase of Wine Wholesaler Broekhuizen and Wine Shop De Logie. The transaction took place through a gradual acquisition.

The businesses together form a successful (wholesale) trade and supplier of wines from the classic world. The businesses have a very good reputation and brand awareness and supply catering establishments and, through B.J. de Logie, private individuals. Both businesses are based in Amsterdam (the store in Beethovenstraat). De Logie has a long history and has existed since 1848.

MANAGEMENT BUY OUT

All 3 shareholders were already working for the business and have now acquired all the shares of the business from the former owners Mr. and Mrs. van Broekhuizen-WIndhorst. The new owners of the business will focus on further developing the company's distinctive proposition and increasing its market share. BuyInside supervised the entire advisory process and supported the new owners in obtaining the necessary financing for the transaction.
