Amelink Advocaten advises shareholders of Centraal Invorderings Bureau (CIB) on acquisition by coeo Inkasso

Amelink Advocaten has advised the shareholders and management of Centraal Invorderings Bureau (CIB) on its acquisition by coeo Inkasso, a German credit management organization from Waterland Private Equity's investment portfolio.

Centraal Invorderings Bureau (CIB) is an innovative credit management organization with more than 50 employees in the Netherlands. It is one of the most modern and technologically driven organizations in the Dutch collection sector and recently also started developing its activities in Belgium.

coeo Inkasso offers a wide range of services to its clients in the e-commerce, telecommunications and energy sectors. With more than 300 employees and the processing of 1.5 million new debt collection files per year, it is one of the leading debt collection businesses in the DACH region. In February 2018, Waterland acquired a majority stake in the business.

The transaction was announced on Friday, May 29, through the website of Centraal Invorderings Bureau (CIB), among others.
