Adagium - CAD Accent

Adagium brought the parties CAD Accent and Arkance Systems together and supervised the entire process.

In 2019, managing director Peter van Houwelingen sold his company CAD Accent to French company Arkance Systems. CAD Accent is a leading supplier in the Netherlands in CAD solutions with in-house developed software (InfraCAD).

Having started in his attic room some 20 years ago, Peter was faced with the question of how to safeguard the future and, above all, the continuity of CAD Accent in the face of a rapidly changing European market. By proactively anticipating developments, the sale of the company came up for discussion and he engaged Adagium to guide the process.

Together with Peter van Houwelingen, Adagium searched for the best potential buyer. In the end, Arkance Systems turned out to be the ideal candidate. This was mainly due to the good click, a similar vision on the market (developments) and also the securities and opportunities offered to staff. Both parties are confident that Peter van Houwelingen will continue to play an important role in the business.

Adagium took care of the entire process, from valuation, negotiation and bookkeeping to preparing the acquisition documentation.
